Arugam Bay

Arugam Bay is located at the “end of the road” on the East Coast of Sri Lanka. If you’re after remote rural life with all the atmosphere of jungle and adventure this is the place for you.
Arugam Bay is listed as one of the top ten surf points in the world. Situated on the southeast of Sri Lanka , Arugam Bay receives the same Antarctic winter swells that hit Indonesia 's southern shores in the middle of the year. The best time of the year for surf is between May and November when the predominant wind is offshore for at least the first half of the day.
Long, well lined up right point break over sharp. Wave size is 2 - 8 ft.

Peanut Farm

20 minutes South of Arugam bay. Right sandy pink breaks (sometimes tubes).
Wave size is 2 - 6 ft.

Potuvill Point

15 minutes North of Arugam Bay. The second best point on Sri Lanka's East Coast. Right sandy point break.
Wave size is 2 - 6 ft. The best waves can ride up to 700m.

Crocodile Rock

15 minutes South of Arugam Bay. Right sand point break off a river mouth.
Wave size is 2 - 3.5 ft.

Okanda Point

Right sandy point break about 15-18 km from Arugam Bay.
Long ride waves.
